Sticky Messages

How it works

   You write the sticky

   Plain text, embed, or both, rules, links, event reminders that should stay visible.

   Deploy to a channel

   Saving alone does nothing live. Deploy posts the sticky and starts watching chat.

3. 3
   It stays at the bottom

   After new messages, Aeon deletes and re-posts the sticky so it sinks back to the latest spot.

Set it up

1. Step 1Enable Sticky Messages

   Open Modules → Sticky Messages and turn it on.

2. Step 2Build the message layout

   Write content and/or enable an embed (default accent #38bdf8). Toggle title, description, footer, thumbnail, and image blocks as needed.

3. Step 3Deploy (this is the go-live step)

   Choose the target channel and duration (0 = until stopped, or presets like 1h / 24h / 7d). Click Deploy sticky.

4. Step 4Stop when finished

   Use Stop sticky to end re-posts and remove the live message.

What you need

• Target channel

  Required. Bot needs View, Send, Embed, and Manage Messages there.

• Body content

  Provide plain text and/or embed title/description before deploy.

• Rate limits

  Reposts debounce (~1.2s), min 10s apart, max 8 per 5 minutes in busy chat.
