Adaptive Slowmode

Auto-scale slowmode with chat heat

Dashboard → Modules → Adaptive Slowmode

How it works

  1. Watch chat velocity

    Aeon counts messages in a short window on selected text/announcement channels (bots ignored).

  2. Heat raises slowmode

    When messages exceed the heat threshold, channel slowmode ramps up toward your max.

  3. Cool-down restores calm

    After quiet returns, slowmode restores to the original value (or zero if you disable restore).

Set it up

  1. Step 1Enable Adaptive Slowmode

    Modules → Adaptive Slowmode → turn on.

  2. Step 2Add watched channels

    Pick at least one channel (required, up to 25). Aeon needs Manage Channels there.

  3. Step 3Tune thresholds + Save

    Heat threshold (default 12 msgs / 10s), max slowmode seconds, cool-down length, and whether to restore the original slowmode.
