Spotify on VCs
Play what a member is listening to
Dashboard → Modules → Spotify on VCs
How it works
- Member shares Spotify activity
Spotify linked on Discord + Activity Status sharing on the server so Aeon can see what’s playing.
- Follow or sync in voice
/spotify follow queues new tracks; /spotify sync replaces the queue and seeks to the current position.
- Music Bot plays the audio
Tracks resolve through Music Bot. Optional auto-follow starts when they join a VC.
Set it up
- Step 1Enable Music Bot first
Spotify on VCs hard-depends on Music Bot. Enable and save Music Bot before this module.
- Step 2Enable Spotify on VCs
Modules → Spotify on VCs → turn on. The bot needs the Presence Intent.
- Step 3Configure follow behavior
Auto-follow, DJ role gates, minimum track length (default 30s), and announce-on-queue, then Save.
What you need
- Commands
/spotify follow, sync, unfollow, status, debug, use debug when presence looks empty.
- Member privacy
No visible Spotify activity usually means Activity Status is off or Spotify isn’t linked.
- Follow vs sync
Follow appends; sync cuts the queue and seeks. Short tracks under minTrackSeconds are skipped.
