AFK & Ping Shields

Warn pingers, summarize missed @s

Dashboard → Modules → AFK & Ping Shields

How it works

  1. Member goes AFK

They run /member afk [reason] (or a prefix equivalent). Staff roles can show as “off duty”.

  2. Someone pings them

Aeon warns the pinger (45s cooldown per pair) so they know the person is away.

  3. They return

Next message can clear AFK and DM a private summary of missed mentions (up to 25).

Set it up

  1. Step 1Enable the module

Modules → AFK & Ping Shields → turn on → Save. No channels required.

  2. Step 2Tune behavior

Keep Warn on mention and Clear on message on unless you want manual returns. Optionally mark staff roles for “off duty” labeling.

  3. Step 3Customize Responses

Edit mention warn, AFK-set confirmation, and return summary (channel / DM / private delivery styles).
