Discord Schema
Visual spatial blueprint for your server. Opens with your live Discord channels, lets you edit safely in a draft, then Sync to match Discord, creating missing channels and deleting extras.
Part of Setup. This page is the deep guide for the Schema editor only.
Open and load
- Dashboard → Setup → Discord Schema.
- The editor loads the live Discord category/channel tree into a draft you can edit offline from Discord’s UI.
- Use Reload from Discord anytime to discard local drift and pull the current structure again.
Editing the blueprint
- Add, rename, reorder, and nest categories and channels (text, voice, announcement, forum, stage).
- Drag-and-drop, multi-select, collapse categories, and filter by channel type to stay oriented in large servers.
- Fast Build walks you through a starter layout. Optional live preview shows how the tree will look.
- Command palette / jump, keyboard shortcuts, undo/redo, and draft auto-save keep large edits manageable.
Sync to Discord
- Sync applies the blueprint: creates missing channels, renames/moves when possible, and can delete channels that aren’t in the schema (confirm carefully).
- Announcement, forum, and stage need Discord Community enabled. Without Community, those types typically sync as text or voice fallbacks.
- Save a template or backup under Templates & Backups before destructive syncs.
Help in the app
The ? beside the Discord Schema title opens an in-app summary of the same guidance. Use this docs page when you want the full walkthrough with links to the rest of Setup.
