FAQ

The bot isn’t responding

Check that Aeon is online in the member list and has Send Messages + Use Slash Commands in that channel. Then run /bot ping. If it fails everywhere, look at Status before opening a ticket.

Slash commands aren’t showing up

Wait a minute after invite. Discord caches command lists. Kick and re-invite only if it’s been over 10 minutes. Admins can also re-sync from the dashboard Settings.

Permissions shows a yellow “Below bot” tag or hierarchy warning

That’s informational, not a broken sync. Those roles sit above Aeon’s own role in Discord, so the bot can’t edit them until you drag Aeon higher under Server Settings → Roles, then click Reload from Discord in Permissions. You can Dismiss the yellow banner for this session; the tags stay so you know which roles are skipped.

What does “Bot · locked” mean on a role?

That’s Aeon’s own Discord role. Discord never lets a bot edit itself, so name/color/permission changes for that role must be done in Server Settings → Roles. Sync skips it on purpose. Nothing is broken.

How do I reset config?

Dashboard → Setup → Backups → Restore default schema, or wipe a single module from that module’s settings. There is no global “factory reset” slash command on purpose.

What’s the refund policy?

All sales are final. Digital content / service access begins immediately after payment, so the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once delivery starts. This does not affect any statutory rights you have where required by law. Cancel anytime to stop future renewals. Duplicate charges or failed checkouts: email billing; don’t post card details in Discord.

Can I move premium to another server?

Yes, from dashboard billing. The old server loses premium at the next cycle; the new one gets it immediately.

Who can run /mod and /security?

Whoever you mapped under Setup → Permissions. Discord Administrator is not enough by itself if that role isn’t in the allow list.

Commands work in DMs?

Only a few utility ones (/bot ping, /bot status, some member lookups). Moderation and tickets are server-only.

How do I report an outage?

Check /status first. If it’s not listed, ping staff in the support Discord. That’s faster than email for live incidents.
